What you get
Everything runs in your dashboard. You do not need a mail program and there is nothing to install.

Inbox, sent, drafts, archive, spam and trash, conversations, search, keyboard shortcuts – on desktop and phone.
Forwarding with confirmation
Optionally forward new mail to another address. It only starts after you confirm it from that address.
Spam folder and virus scan
Suspicious mail lands in the spam folder. Attachments are checked for viruses before you can open them.
External images blocked
Images from the internet stay off until you show them for one message, so senders cannot track when you read.
Export at any time
Download a mailbox as a ZIP file with all messages as .eml files – readable by every mail program.

Domains at Gramli
Your own domain
Connect a domain you already own (Studio 1, Partner 3). Gramli shows the DNS records step by step and checks them automatically. If your domain already receives mail elsewhere, we warn you clearly before anything changes.
Fair limits: one-to-one mail, no bulk mail
Every Gramli mailbox shares the sending reputation of all customers. Clear limits keep your mail out of spam folders.
Newsletters belong in a newsletter tool with consent and unsubscribe links, not in a mailbox.
- At most 5 recipients per email (To, Cc and Bcc together).
- At most 30 emails per day and mailbox, 10 per day in the first 14 days.
- Attachments up to 20 MB per email.
- Many bounces, spam complaints or the same text to many recipients pause sending automatically. A person at Gramli reviews it with you.
Your mail stays yours
Content is stored encrypted on our server. Gramli administrators see only technical metadata such as address, storage used and number of emails sent – never subjects, texts or attachments.
Privacy policy- Mail is received and sent through SendGrid (Twilio); click and open tracking is switched off.
- Attachments are checked with our own virus scanner on our server.
- HTML mail is cleaned and shown in a sandbox without scripts.
- Every access by an administrator to a mailbox that is not theirs is logged.
When a package ends
Your mail does not disappear overnight. The same rules are in our terms.

New mail is no longer accepted. You can still export everything.

Messages and attachments are deleted. The address stays blocked for new owners for 6 months.

Questions about email
Can I use Outlook, Apple Mail or a phone app?
No. Gramli mailboxes are used through the webmail in your dashboard, which also works in the phone browser. IMAP, POP3 and SMTP are not offered. If you need a mail program, set up forwarding to a mailbox that supports it.
Which address do I get?
An address at your profile name, for example hello@your-name.ger.li. The address part before the @ is yours to choose (2 to 40 characters). Your profile name cannot be changed while mailboxes use it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, in Studio (1 domain) and Partner (3 domains). You add the records we show to your DNS. As soon as all records are found, the domain becomes available for mailboxes.
My domain already receives mail elsewhere. What happens?
Mail for a domain can only arrive at one provider. Before connecting, we warn you and ask for an explicit confirmation. Only when you change the MX records yourself does mail arrive at Gramli.
Why are there sending limits?
They protect every customer’s deliverability. A mailbox is meant for personal and business one-to-one mail; bulk or advertising mail is not allowed.
How does forwarding work?
You enter a target address and we send a confirmation link there. Only after confirming does Gramli forward new mail from the inbox – not spam. After 3 bounces from the target address, forwarding switches off and you are informed.
What about spam and viruses?
Mail with a high spam score or failed sender checks lands in the spam folder. Attachments stay locked until our virus scan marks them clean.
Can I take my mail with me?
Yes. The export creates a ZIP file with all messages as .eml files. The download stays available for 7 days.
What happens when my package ends?
The mailbox stays usable for 30 days (receiving and reading), is then locked but exportable for 60 days and afterwards deleted.
Who can read my mail?
Only you and the people you give access to. Gramli administrators see technical metadata only, never content.
